Field Engineering and Service Manager

With a team of over 90 across Australia, the US and China, Baraja is now seeking to find Field Engineering and Service Manager to join our team in Sydney. Our team has high-performing engineers and scientists that are investigating novel technologies for our autonomous vehicle sensors.
What are we looking for:
The Field Engineering and Service Manager will provide the technical leadership for the Field Service Engineers. They will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer's equipment. The Field Engineering and Service Manager will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
And you be responsible for:
Manages the field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives.
Handles service contracts and directs support services.
Develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery.
Ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved to utilize engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed.
Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 5 or more years’ experience in servicing Diagnostic Imaging equipment
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process
Five years’ work experience in high reliability, highly regulated industries e.g. automotive, aerospace, medical device.
